I came across in a Pulkkinen family history book Carin Grelsdr Parviainen (b.1683 d.1756 Kuhmo) The book showed a Bertil Pulkkinen (b1683 d.1756 Kuhmo) married to Carin aprox 1703 and they had 2 children Juliana and Elin. Then I find this same Carin Parviainen (b.1683 d.1756 Kuhmo) married to Pehr Joranspk Pulckinen (b.1689-d.1754 Kuhmo) no marriage date found with one child Joran Pehrss Pulckinen. Now Elin as noted above married Joran Pehrss Pulckinen as noted above. This translates to half siblings getting married. Elin and Joran got married 17 Feb 1744 (Kuhmo) and they share a mother, Carin. Can you find in the archives any information about Carin Grels Parviainen getting married twice? Carin's parents are Grels Parviainen and Dorothea Ikoinen, not dates/places found.

Any information on Carin and her children would help a great deal.

Thank you, Jut for your research. It's most interesting. The one issue I am still confused about is, can you tell if Carin was married to both Bertil and Peer Pulkkinen and if so did she mother Elin and Joran (half-siblings) who would later marry each other.

I understand from these books that there are two separate Carin Parviatar, one married to Peer and one married to Bertil - the one married to Bertil has also been called Caisa

Thank you Luonski for clarifying that. It looked very odd to me that this woman Carin would have two children by two different men unless she was widowed and remarried. Very confusing. Thank you for helping me solve the mystery.
