I am looking for the death date of Anders Haverinen. The above link is the last place I found him alive but I can not find any death records.
Anders Haverinen born 25 Oct 1792 Korpisalmi 7, Kuhmo
Parents:Paul Haverinen b.21 Mar 1758 Lendua 33, Kuhmo and Anna Johs Pulckinen b.09 Nov 1758 Katterma Toivola 15, Kuhmo

Anders married Elin Valdanen b. 25 Jan 1785 Katterma 5, Kuhmo. Both he and Elin were widowed when they married on 24 April 1814 and made their home at Katterma 15, Kuhmo That's where I have found all the data on this family.
They had 5 children, first one in 1815 and last one in 1824. I was able to track them in the FFHA Communion books and found that Elin is shown as having passed away in the 1826-1832 book. I later found her name in Hiski as having died 13 Oct 1826 Katterma 15, Kuhmo.

For Anders the last time I see him is in the 1848-1854 book Katterma 15 Haverila, Kuhmo. I see his son Matts b 1821 in that book also, so Anders is living with him or Matts is living with Anders.

I tried to search the FFHA death records 1858-1885 but they are very hard to read, and there are no Hiski records past 1857. I hope you can find an easier way to find him and when he passed away.
Thank You
Janice

Anders has moved to page 122 in communion book 1855-65 in 1861
http://www.sukuhistoria.fi/sshy/kirjat/ ... -11/17.htm

On page 122 you can see (the second from below) he dies in May, 1861 (hard to distinguish the day, maybe 10, 18?)

and his death seems not to be in the buried...

Thank you so much for getting this mystery solved. I would never have looked at Korpisalmi Tikkala 33. I can hardly make out his name and I would have missed that also. By looking at the record there is a Johan Haverinen born 1828. I think I saw a record where Anders remarried after Elin's death and it looks as though Anders may have been living with his youngest son and his family when he died. WOW - great investigating, you went everywhere I wouldn't have and came up with the answers.
Thank you again, you have no idea how much I appreciate it.
I'll be back, it's winter and I work on ancestry research. This year it's my father's family.
