I apologize if I write in wrong place. I don't quite understand the structure of this forum, as I don't know the Finnish language.

My great(6)grandfather Johan Toliander (sometimes wrote Toljander).
Finnish archives are organized very well and I found many documents proving that this man is my direct ancestor.

it is said that Johan's father is -- Mårten Klemensson Tolliander.
To my regret, I can not find any document to confirm that Mårten is the father of Johan.

Maybe someone knows where I can find such a document?

Olavi Arra started it, asking exactly the same question as you did.
Many answers and different ponderings. The birth year of Johan varies.
Some of the information Antti Järvenpää gives is taken from Vanhan Tohmajärven historia (history of old Tohmajärvi) by Jaana Juvonen.
