Attached is the Hiski English death record for Jacob Ruuth. It gives his burial date not death date. He may have died late 1739 and was not buried until the following spring on 28May1740. I think this Hiski record shows the link to find the original entry and I hope this can make your search easier. I can't find it. I may be wrong but he lived on the Ruuth farm so is it possible his family had their own farm? Been long time since I have worked on research, not familiar with all the places I could look.

It seems that death dates as well as causes of death have been included in Kemi only after 1750.

Thank you so much for getting back to me. I will check it out. One question. It's been awhile since I have used this forum and I am unable to find something. Wasn't there an option that I could check that would have an email sent to me when someone has posted an answer to my question? Or was I dreaming?

When you write a message, there's a list of options on the bottom (the blue box). One of those should be the one that sends you an email when you receive an aswer. I'm not 100% sure, since the list is a little different for admins and I only see mine.

Thanks for getting back to me a while back. Been pre-occupied with covid and preparing. Minnesota doing fine for now. I found the box to get an email that notifies me. Thought I would test it out.
